"Refubished laptop in great condition, like new, the only thing I didn't like is that it didn't come with Microsoft Office and it's extremely expensive to buy the installation CD so I'm not sure I got a great deal on it anymore."

"Dell D400 Pentium was in excellent condition; however, it does not come with Windows XP installed on it. Do not make the mistake I did by thinking it comes with software.

"Dell D400 Pentium works great and I love the small size. My only complaint is that the DVD drive is external, I don't see anything in the original desciption or my order that clarifies that. The cord is somewhat short which makes it difficult to use the DVD while holding the laptop. I use a small table now. Except for that I am very happy with it."

"My first laptop from Dell. I purchased it 3 years ago. Its specifications are considered low nowadays, however, after upgrading the memory to1024M, I find it capable of handling most of the modern applications on the market. I wouldn't recommend playing 3D video games on it, as it will get very slow. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the computer so far. There was one minor problem with the hard drive, but the technician from Dell repaired it next day. Excellent service I'd say."

"My husband and I bought Dell D400 Pentium off of e-bay refurbished. We are very happy with it--it works great! We didn't realize that it didn't come with a CD drive, but it is a 2nd computer so it was ok. We mostly wanted it so that we can have internet anywhere in the house. I probably wouldn't recommend it as a main computer because of the CD drive, but as a 2nd it's great. We got a great deal on it--$260 including shipping, so it was very worth it! "
