I just received this unit 2 days ago and every time I have start Windows it shuts down approximately every 20-30 minutes. I am going to give it a day or two more and if it continues I will be sending it back for replacement.

"i love this HP Pavilion tx2510us Tablet PC. It is awesome and really fast and when i say its fast i mean cause my other computer has a 2.2Ghz phenom quad core with 2 gigs of ram so i know what fast is and i have been using i for a bout a month now and i have had no problems yet just that the buttons on the screen take some getting used to i kept accidentally pushing them oh and the battery seems to last pretty long but it takes a long time to charge but i was playing a game on it while it was charging too sooooo"

"The HP tx2510us is a great tablet for your money. It's actually way cheaper buying it through Buy.com than custom building it at HP, even with an academic purchasing program. It comes with a 2.1ghz AMD Turion X2 which isn't the highest processor you can get it with (2.2ghz) but I don't think there's much of a difference there. I suggest installing a fresh copy of Vista after getting your tx2510 because there's a lot of bloatware that slows down your brand new tablet. If you search for tx2000 forums you should be able to find out how to do that. The tablet features work pretty well, it's not 100% accurate all the time but I think it's a great improvements from previous tablets. The swivel screen is pretty sturdy and I like the feel of the keyboard/touchpad. The webcam and fingerprint scanner are pretty cool features as well. The only qualm I have is this laptop can get pretty hot if you're using it heavily or while charging it. I'm used to big 17" scorching laptops so it's not too much of a bother. I would recommend a cooling pad if you're going to be using it on a table. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and thanks for the great pricing Buy.com, cheers!"

All things considering, for the size of this lil toy, it's a pretty darn good laptop. The dual core AMD that powers it has more then enough 'horsepower' to get the intense tasks done. The 3 gig's of RAM make the toy nice and perky. While I would've preferred a video card from nVidia, the ATI one is more then adequate to power the 12.1" HD display (although I was surprised NOT to find a BR-Drive in it considering the HD screen) The wireless card is top notch and the touch screen makes tablet work a breeze and playing a delight! (As dose the swivel screen) In my opinion (as someone who builds PC's a lot, and who's life revolves around tech) for the $1k you'd be hard pressed to find a better laptop."
