If you don’t mind leaving the optical drive at home, it’s well worth a look. The outstanding keyboard, impressive battery life and great mobility particularly impressed. "
Pros: The X200 is a brilliantly-made piece of kit. It feels very sturdy and there is virtually no flex on the chassis. The legendary ThinkPad keyboard still lives up to its name, and the connectivity options, as well as performance, are plentiful. Its normal-voltage processor allows those who want an ultraportable but do not want to sacrifice performance to carry a mobile powerhouse in a small 12-inch package. The included Lenovo software is decent and does a good job maintaining your computer. If you perform a clean install, simply install your wireless or ethernet driver and Lenovo System Update and leave overnight to have all your drivers and Lenovo software installed and your computer ready to use.
Cons: Nowhere on the site did I read that some models did not come with a built in webcam - I bought mine pre-configured in China and my model did not have one. The Lenovo software, while useful, can take up a lot of memory and some ports are too tight, causing you to force the plug in (this is safe as the port is simply tight)."

Cons: One thing is the screen, its just a regular lcd screen, nothing fancy... My 5 year old fujitsu has a 100x better screen. I wish they had the LED option for the x200 (actually they do but its for the slower x200s).
Summary: Overall, great quality laptop. Couldn't ask for better.
Battery life is good depending on the battery you have. I have the 4-cell and 9-cell. The 9-cell is great, lasts about 6 hours, but its a lot heaver. 4-cell battery life is about 1.5 hours.... not that much, but it makes for a lot lighter load. (with 4-cell the laptop is just as light as that tiny asus) "
