"My review for Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet 7449
Pros: Great keyboard, speedy processor, fantastic build

Cons: No touchpad -- but I quickly got used to the nub. And a minor thing: The control key is not on the bottom left hand corner -- that space is used for the function key. It's a bit annoying when trying to type by feel.

Summary: Great machine. But it's not for everyone. It's for people who do a lot of work and don't mind working without a touchpad. It's truly a joy to use otherwise."

Strengths: Extremely light and portable, good tradeoff of features for portability

Weaknesses: Short battery life (4 cell), no optical drive, no firewire (all very minor quibbles)

Overall Evaluation: The x200 has a good balance of features and portability, omitting the lesser used features such as the optical drive and firewire to lessen the weight. This model comes with the new Montevina Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.40GHz processor and runs Vista without a hitch. It belongs in the ultraportable laptop class (around 3 lbs) but the performance is similar to the other larger ThinkPads. The high resolution 1280 x 800 LCD is a bonus, nicer than the x61.Get the 9 or 6 cell battery if you would like more than 2 hours of usage, but that obviously adds to the weight."

"The Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet 7449 is a great tool for the business user on the move. What it lacks in style it more than makes up for in quality, with no need to shout about its abilities. It’s also a much cheaper alternative to the larger ThinkPad X300.

If you don’t mind leaving the optical drive at home, it’s well worth a look. The outstanding keyboard, impressive battery life and great mobility particularly impressed."

Pros: Very good design, very good power, very good battery life and no heat. Very strong and nice features.

Cons: Hard disk vibration bothers, WiFi sometimes disconnects, not as thin as you would expect, no CD drive.

"My review for Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet 7449
Pros: -Super light weight.
-P8600 matched with ddr3 ram makes it great for multitasking.
-Keyboard is great.
-I was a first time user of the red eraser (touchpoint), and i absolutely love it.
-magnesium-alloy rollcage... (haven't tested it)

Cons: One thing is the screen, its just a regular lcd screen, nothing fancy... My 5 year old fujitsu has a 100x better screen. I wish they had the LED option for the x200 (actually they do but its for the slower x200s).

Summary: Overall, great quality laptop. Couldn't ask for better.

Battery life is good depending on the battery you have. I have the 4-cell and 9-cell. The 9-cell is great, lasts about 6 hours, but its a lot heaver. 4-cell battery life is about 1.5 hours.... not that much, but it makes for a lot lighter load. (with 4-cell the laptop is just as light as that tiny asus) "
