Strengths: Very light, high quality graphics card, high definition screen.

Weaknesses: The M200 is not coming with DVD/CD drive, so may have to acquire the external one.

Overall Evaluation: It's one of the best tablet PCs in the market. I did a lot of research before buying this M200 (from several TabletPC forums), and will never regret of owning it."

Toshiba makes some pretty cool tablet PCs and the Portege M200 is one of those. Like two computers in one, the M200 provides full notebook functionality plus the added benefits of a Tablet PC! Add hand-written notes or diagrams to any document during a presentation or meeting. With the swivelling and flippable monitor, this goes from a notebook to a tablet in seconds.

Its large 12.1″ SXGA+ display*, digital ink technology, and integrated full-width keyboard provide comfort in PC mode. Tablet users can easily rotate the screen for landscape or portrait orientation with adjustment to different height levels for maximum productivity. The M200 is also dockable.

Pro: A great display that's not only currently the highest resolution on the market, but it looks great too. Solid and well-built, excellent keyboard. Fast processor and generous RAM make it a strong performer. Comes with a large battery and has very good battery life. MS OneNote 2003 is included: a must-have tablet app that's expensive if purchased separately.
Con: No FireWire built-in."

General Comments
I recently purchased a Toshiba Portege M200 laptop due to starting a new job, however i have been given one within 2 weeks of starting it. so far i havent seen any errors, or faults with the laptop. At first i was a bit careful with the screen because it rotates, and i was scared to damage or break it, however i have found it to be a sturdy, well-built laptop/notebook/tablet. The only advice i can offer is to buy a USB/PCMCIA CD-Rom with the laptop."
